Please note: the application fee is non-refundable and failure to make this payment will result in your application not moving forward.
After 7 days you will receive an email from our vetting partner CV Insight (CVI).
The ASC require background checks to be carried out based on the category of membership selected in your application. This vetting is necessary to confirm your credentials as a security professional and to ensure that you meet the relevant eligibility criteria.
You will be asked to provide a professional reference from a person that has known you in a professional capacity and is able to provide detailed information in relation to your security experience and abilities.
Please ensure that the information you supply to CVI is accurate and that your referee has been made aware that they will be contacted and are able to provide a full and detailed response to the reference request.
Once CVI have completed their background checks, a report will be provided to the ASC Membership Team who will then aim to make a decision within a further 21 days.
It is important to note that from the time of submitting an application to receiving an offer of membership can take up to 60 days.
